Youth Leaders: Help Your Students Step Out at Ignition 2026 NorCal
What would it look like to step out in faith, starting right now?
That's the question at the heart of Ignition NorCal, October 23–24. It's two days for students in grades 7–12 to worship together, wrestle with real questions, and meet Jesus in a way that sticks. Add a night market, workshops, a basketball tournament, and a lot of time with friends.
This year's theme is Step Out: out of fear, out of comfort, and into the life God is calling you to.
When: Fri 6–10 PM · Sat 10 AM–9 PM Who: Grades 7–12, plus youth leaders and parents When: Fri 6–10 PM · Sat 10 AM–9 PM
Who: Grades 7–12
Where: 1275 Harbor Bay Parkway Alameda, Ca 94502
Three sessions, three steps
Each main session is one step in what it means to step out:
Calling (Fri night): God's purpose for you doesn't start someday. It starts now.
Fears (Sat morning): Fear of failing, of what friends think, of not being enough. We'll name it and see what Scripture says.
Salvation, Lordship & Commitment (Sat evening): Who Jesus is, what He's done, and what it looks like to follow Him with everything. Students will have space to respond.
Speakers and worship
Worship
A member of the Vertical Worship team will lead worship. WhatupRG (Raul Garcia) is a Mexican-American Christian hip-hop artist whose breakout single "God Made a Way" was later remixed with Lecrae and nobigdyl.
